How to Increase download speed for eMule

Problem

When it comes to downloading client, one of the most attractive factor must be the speed of downloading. Apart from the correct settings only the files you want to download decide the speed. How to increase download speed on eMule?

Solution

Keep the default setting setted by eMule in Options> Connection.
eMule should run for as long as possible. The longer the better - best to keep it always running.
Do not download only one file.
Get files with 150 or more sources.
Do not try to get the latest releases, at least not too soon.
Upload as much as possible to gain credits.
Do not watch eMule. It doesn't like it.
