How to Hide or restore running applications in Windows 7

Problem

My Internet Explorer 8 window often be missing, I can see the iexplore.exe process in Windows Task Manager, but I can't find it out. At the same time, I also want some applications to be hidden like that, so please tell me how to Hide or restore running applications in Windows 7.

Solution

  1. Download WinRAP from SourceForge.

  2. Extract the Zip file and launch the program,
    Hide or restore running applications in Windows 7
    Select a window caption from "List of running applications" and click "Hide" to hide an application.
    OR
    Select a window caption from "List of hidden applications" and click "Unhide" to reveal an application.

Tips

It is recommended to run the program under Windows 7 for .Net Framework support.
