How to Create letter box model in 3DS MAX

Problem

This tutorial will teach you to create a letter box model. We usually use it to accept the letter. This is a very useful model and it can be widely applied. Now, come with me create it!

Solution

First, launch 3ds MAX 2009.
Click > > Splines > Rectangle to draw the rectangle.
Select the rectangle and right-click it, choose Convert to Editable Spline item.
Click button and select these two points.
Please set the Fillet parameters to 100 as below.
In panel, set the parameters as below.
Please draw a new rectangle.
In panel, add the Extrude modifier.
Please set the parameters of extrude modifier.
Click > > Standard Primitives > Cylinder to draw a cylinder.
Click > > Extended Primitives > ChamferBox to draw a small chamfer box.
Click > > Splines > Line to draw this shape.
Please add the extrude modifier and set the parameters as below.
Click > > Standard Primitives > Cylinder to draw a cylinder.
Click > > Standard Primitives > Box to draw a box.
Click > > Splines > NGon to draw a NGON.
Please add the extrude modifier and set the parameters as below.
Now, draw another one as below.
Please make all these models together.
Now, Let's create the material to render the model.
Please set the parameters to create a new material as below.

Please create other two materials in the same way.
