How to Create a Shortcut to Immediately Eject a Specific USB Drive in Windows 7

Problem

I just start to use windows 7 system, and I dislike to eject a specific USB drive by some steps. My friend tells me I can create a shortcut to eject a specific USB drive from my computer, but I do not sure how to do that, I hope someone can help me.

Solution

  1. Download USB Disk Ejector.
  2. Right click the desktop, and choose "New", then choose "Shortcut".

  3. Choose the location of USB Disk Ejector which you download just recently.

  4. Give "USB_Disk_Eject" as a name to the new shortcut.

  5. Click "Finish", you will see the new shortcut on the desktop.

  6. Just double click the new shortcut icon, and you can eject a specific USB drive from your computer.
