Problem
You just purchased a Blu-ray movie disc. Why not make a Blu-ray copy and play it on the hard drive or store it on your AppleTV hard drive?
Solution
- Download a Blu-ray backup tools named 'BackupBluray' and 'Sun Java Runtime Environment'. After extract 'BackupBluray', you will get two folders.
- Insert your Blu-ray movie disc into your Blu-ray drive.
- Search CPS Unit Key of your Blu-ray movies from internet.
- Go to the 'run' folder of BackupBluray, double click 'CPSKey.cfg' file. In the popup window, choose 'Select the program from a list' and click 'OK' button to continue.

Then select 'Notepad' and click 'OK' button.

'CPSKey.cfg' file will be opened by Notepad, now add the CPS Unit key of your Blu-ray movie and save it.
- Open a Command window (Start-> Run or press combination keys 'Win+R' : type in 'cmd' and press Enter).

Now navigate to the BackupBluray 'run' folder in the Command window. Then enter the following command line syntax: backupbluray source_drive destination_drive_and_folder. And for example, type in: backupbluray h: d:\bluray\movies, here H is your Blu-ray drive letter.
- After the backup is finised, go to your backup directory to check files ripped.
- From thoses files's size, the file '00001.m2ts' is obviously the main movie.
- Now your 'Copy Blu-ray discs to Hard disk' is sucessful. And you can play these M2TS files using your favourite media player such as VLC media player or PowerDVD.
Tips
You should install 'Java Runtime Environment' firstly in order to run BackupBluray.
