Problem
When making your own video, a title clip is necessary for a complete movie.
Solution
Windows Movie Maker can create a title clip for your video.
- Run Windows Movie Maker by going to "Start > All Programs > Video > Windows Movie Maker."
- Choose a background picture for the title clip. Either find an image on the Internet and download it to the location, or create your own picture with image software such as Adobe Photoshop. In Windows XP, Movie Maker accepts: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .jfif, and .gif image files. In Windows Vista, Movie Maker also accepts: .png, .dib, .tif, and .tiff image files.
- Click on Import pictures on the left pane and and then navigate to the location of the image file. You will see the picture on the Collection.

- Switch to a timeline view, then drag the image clip from the clips section into the Storyboard or Timeline.

- To place titles or credits on top of the picture, click the title clip. Click on "Titles and Credits" on the left pane and then click "On the Selected Clip," to add the title. Preview the effect in the right screen.
- Once done. Click on "Done, add title to movie". A title clip is created for your movie.
